Chapter 10
1. When He had called them unto Him, the homeless and immigrants, He gave them power against unclean spirits.
2. And those He sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Avoid all non-Christians in Massachusetts.
3. As you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
4. Pay nothing for the expenses of your travels, food, or care.
5. And whosoever shall not receive you, when you depart their house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
6. For verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of Judgment, than for any such anthill in Massachusetts.
7. The sun of New England shall be darkened, and the moon give up her light.
8. And there shall appear great blackness in the sky, and the wicked of that state shall mourn, and shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and glory.
9. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled. Trust me on that.
10. And Massachusetts shall perish from the face of the land like Noah’s Flood.
11. And every hypocrite, from the first to the last.
12. Think not that I am come to send peace and harmony to America. I come not to bring reconciliation and forgiveness, but a sword.
13. And you shall be hated of all men.
14. And called rapists.
15. Brother shall be betrayed by brother.
16. Fathers shall cease to protect their daughters.
17. Children shall rise up against their parents and put them to death.
18. She who loves her child more than me is not worthy of me.
19. They who love their parents more than me are not worthy of me.
20. For I am come to destroy the very bridge and roadways, the very water, shore, and green fields, the very touch of fellow man that corrupts me.
